Guitar Classes
are geared towards getting students to developing the common skills necessary for playing in an ensemble as well as educating students about many of the instrument's most influential artists, greatest hits, and popular songs. Classes will cover many different musical genres including bluegrass, reggae, blues, rock, and pop and students will have the opportunity to request their favorite songs while gaining useful techniques to become intelligent guitarists. Classes will perform throughout the year in various school settings. Students should expect 15 minutes of daily focused practice to excel.

Middle School Praise Band with Larry Rockwell
Students will learn modern worship songs (Hillsong, Jesus Culture, Matt Maher, Crowder, etc) and classic hymns on guitar, bass, and vocals. The students will then combine with other areas of the CCES arts to build an understanding of worship and how it relates to small group, worship experiences, and big church settings! There will not only be opportunities to lead worship in Chapel at CCES, but in local churches as well. This will be an enriching course; one that will put the student on a path that will help them hone their talents for their home churches and also for the Kingdom of God.
